To anyone wanting anger management therapy. A free, 12 week, anger therapy group is being offered as part of a Mindfulness and Modification Therapy clinical trial.

Location: Irving, 600 West Pioneer
Date: TBA Soon
Duration 12 weeks (2 hours each week)
Purpose of clinical trial
Groups will be led for 12 weeks by a licensed psychologist using Mindfulness Modification Therapy (MMT) to help clients break free of their problem behaviors so they can move toward lives that feel more fulfilling.
Leading Psychologist

Dr. Peggilee Wupperman, author of the award-winning book,“Treating Impulsive, Addictive, and Self-Destructive Behaviors: Mindfulness and Modification Therapy,” Professor of Psychology Department at John Jay College/City University of New York, Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychology at Yale School of Medicine, Senior Psychotherapist for the American Institute for Therapy, and Licensed Psychologist in both Texas and New York.
Effectiveness
For several years now, I have listened to the amazing stories that have come out of Dr. Wupperman’s clinical trials. MMT has been markedly more effective than standard treatments in previous studies. When asked how helpful the treatment was in anonymous surveys, clients have consistently rated the treatment higher than 8.5 (on a scale of 0 to 10). Even with the most severe demographic, MMT maintained a retention rate of over 83%, with clients showing significant and large improvements in anger management in every study.
Attendees
18 and up. You don’t have to live in Irving to attend. You don’t have to be in any other therapy to attend, but if already in therapy, then you can continue with your therapist as long as the therapy doesn’t specifically target anger.
Personal Thoughts
I highly recommend this treatment to anyone with anger issues. The effectiveness of her previous clinical trials were amazing, and life changing for those who attended. MMT is a highly effective form of treatment, but Dr. Wupperman’s personality makes it all the more effective. This is the first time she is offering one of her trials in Texas, and she is doing it for free. If you have any questions about Dr. Wupperman, or why I am suggesting this clinical trial, contact me, and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
